I have decided not to create a new prompt this week, but if you feel inspired to write something please feel free to link to this post and I will be sure to share it. Remember anything under 500 words is fine–the shorter the flashier!

For next year, I would love to have pictures that you guys send as prompts throughout the year. Please leave a comment if you are interested in doing that.

Happy New Year, and keep flashing me!!!

Special Guest Post from Cal (@uncmfrtblynmb) “Day of the Dead”

I have started to look forward to getting something new from Cal to post weekly. I am fortunate that he has given me yet another AMAZING post for this week!

‘Day of the Dead’

It was a frenzied blur, clothes torn off and hands everywhere
A drink at the bar became game of truth and dare
Her skillful tongue and wanton lust left him dry and wasted
She was gone but a day later and he was devastated
He discovered she’d been dead, used him for a one-night affair.

Again honored to have Cal as a special guest this week!

Friday Flash No. 9 — Love is Love

Last month, we thumbed our way through vintage Playboys! You can see all of the flash stories for that here. This month? Love is love! This photo has a backstory–but I want yours!
